One of Mrs. Starr's students stops by after class to talk about his grade. He's sitting at the bottom of the class, and if his next test doesn't turn things around, his family says they'll stop covering his tuition. After hearing him plead his case, Mrs. Starr decides she's willing to work something out with him, so long as he's willing to hold up his end of the bargain in return.
