Everyone loved Mrs. Hayes, even though she was a lot older than some of the other teachers, she was totally cool! When I missed a few assignments, I was sure she would help me pass her class, and boy did she ever! She sat me down after class for a one-on-one talk about getting back on track, and by the time we were done, I had a clear plan -- and a passing grade -- thanks to her patience and a little extra credit.
